Here is a presentation that I have used at schools regarding Essential Standards. It is the full version of the clips that I used at the Academy. Feel free to use it as you please.
EssentialStandards.ppt

Here is a video that I did not get a chance to show. We interviewed teachers from the schools where we are facilitating the development of PLCs and asked them how important Essential Standards are to the process, what kinds of conversations they have lead to, and what they would recommend for others considering the process. Unfortunately, this is a low quality version because the full quality is more than 20 Megabytes. Let me know if you can use the high quality version and I can figure out how to get it to you.
